A 3D product configurator for your Shopify store
Shopify's variants stop being useful at a few dozen combinations. A configurator lets customers build the exact product from every option you offer, see it in 3D and in their room, and add it to the cart at the right price, with every choice written on the order.
Beyond Shopify's variant limits
A product with three materials, six colors, two sizes and four add-ons has more combinations than a variant list can sensibly hold, and a dropdown of names doesn't show the customer what they're buying. The configurator keeps one product page: customers choose visually, the price updates as they go, and your rules stop combinations you don't make.
How add to cart works
Shopify charges variant prices, so each build is added as your base product plus small add-on products priced at each upcharge. Every option the customer chose is written on the order as a line-item property, with a link that reopens the exact build, so you and your workshop see what to make. It uses your storefront's own cart, with no Shopify app to install and no API key; themes with a cart drawer can open it instead of going to the cart page.
If a product is quote-only, keep a "Request quote" button instead of add to cart, or offer both. Quote requests go to your inbox and dashboard with the build, SKUs and price.

Setup on Shopify
- We make the 3D from your photos, drawings or CAD, with your options, prices and rules.
- You add your store's domain in the threedezy console, so the configurator only runs on your site.
- Paste two lines into the product page (a Custom Liquid or HTML block in the theme editor). It takes on your theme's fonts and colors.
- Turn on add to cart. We map the options to your products and test the cart with you before it goes live.

Is this a Shopify app?
No, there's nothing to install from the App Store. It's a script on your product page, so it also works on WordPress, Squarespace and custom sites if you sell there too.
Which plan includes Shopify add to cart?
Collection and Partner. Every plan includes the configurator with AR, quote requests and saved designs.
Will it slow our store down?
No. A still picture shows straight away and the 3D loads when a customer scrolls to it, compressed to a fraction of its original size.
What kinds of products does it suit?
